A community that Remembers

It is widely encouraged that local and regional communities can and should produce their own Remembrance commemorations. At the core of these events is the Act of Remembrance. AFRL does this through its Remembrance game and a small ceremony. The Act of Remembrance is brief and non-religious, making it exceptionally well-suited to personalised commemorations.

The Exhortation

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.

When you go home, tell them of us and say. For your tomorrow, we gave our today.

Anthem Genedlaethol Cymraeg | Welsh National Anthem

Mae hen wlad fy nhadau yn annwyl i mi,
Gwlad beirdd a chantorion, enwogion o fri;
Ei gwrol ryfelwyr, gwladgarwyr tra mâd,
Tros ryddid gollasant eu gwaed.

Gwlad! Gwlad! Pleidiol wyf i'm gwlad.
Tra môr yn fur i'r bur hoff bau,
O bydded i'r hen iaith barhau.
